I have been painting since the 1970’s, with many teachers in many cities as well some online classes for fun. I paint to jazz music when I am doing intuitive abstracts. The more realistic, earthly art is mostly inspired by my imagination and my surroundings.
My belief is that without Art, you never have a full experience of Life. You could live well without brussell sprouts, but Art is the food of our souls, which don’t get fed often enough in our culture.
I live in the city of Las Cruces, New Mexico, under the shadow of the beautiful Organ Mountains (so named because they are reminiscent of a pipe organ). If you haven’t seen them, you should visit as they are spectacular. And visit my art studio while you’re at it. Let’s say hello! And finally, the black hare in many of my earthly works is a signature of mine. They are found in Mexico and the Southwest. Perhaps it is my spirit animal?
